Introduce your young athlete to the essentials of hitting and pitching through our integrated program. We emphasize mechanics, body movements, and comprehensive athletic growth in an enjoyable, engaging setting. Young athletes will be introduced to Trackman; while they won’t focus on the data and metrics, they will learn to interpret what the numbers signify, establishing a solid foundation for ongoing improvement throughout the program. Each player will receive a VBA player profile, allowing parents to monitor weekly individual progress reports.

Private Instruction
Train individually or in small groups with our expert VBA coaches. In today’s competitive baseball landscape, private instruction has become essential, given the abundance of resources and the elevated skill level of players. While our programs are exceptional, the ability to work closely with a coach who can dedicate their full attention to a player significantly enhances development.

Team Metrics and Analytical Evaluation
Enhance your team's performance with our thorough monthly Trackman Evaluation. Tailored for all age groups, this program utilizes cutting-edge metrics to analyze and enhance your team's overall effectiveness.
What's Included
- A dedicated day each month for collecting pitching, hitting, and live at-bat statistics utilizing our TrackMan technology.
- A 1.25-hour facility rental, featuring one cage on the lower level and one on the upper level, for you to use as desired.
- Comprehensive storage of metrics and reports to review and share with your team.
- A short consultation with a coach to analyze your data and explore strategies for improvement.

Individual Trackman Metrics and Analytical Evaluation
Discover in-depth insights into your performance through our Individual Metrics and Analytical Assessment. When you sign up for VBA, members will receive a personalized assessment using our Trackman systems, which will be documented to serve as a foundation for your progress. This Trackman Assessment, along with the data collected during our programs, will be integrated into each individual’s VBA profile.

Program Eligibility & Requirements
To ensure a successful experience in our programs, athletes must meet the following criteria:
Playing Experience
While our goal is to reach as many players as possible, we strongly advise having prior playing experience before joining VBA. The programs we offer will involve advanced, detailed strategies that may not be advantageous for beginners. That being said, we encourage anyone with experience in the game who is eager to elevate their performance to new levels.
Academic Excellence
Academic performance is an integral part of every athlete’s overall development. We train our athletes to play at the collegiate level—therefore, players must maintain a a good GPA to stay enrolled at Virginia Beach Academy, and will have monthly grade checks and progress reports with parents.
Attitude & Character
A positive attitude and strong character are key to success in our programs. We train and expect athletes to show dedication and integrity in everything they do. We model a culture of respect for coaches and teammates, a solid work ethic, and are committed to building a supportive team environment where excellence is fostered and expected of every athlete.
Attendance
Attend classes regularly and arrive punctually. Consistent participation is essential for achieving success. Young athletes and high school students are expected to be present at sessions when possible and should notify in advance if unforeseen scheduling conflicts occur.
